Here is the start point of the intake manifold for the L31DETT project.  I use STOCK KA upper intake plentum/runners, and adapted my own common box with internal velocity stacks.  I am using a Q45 90mm Throttle body.  And yes it BARELY clears the engine bay of a S30.
